During the second week of October 2023, we continued to monitor and support the activities of the following target groups: in DakChueng district, we joined with the forest management committee to inspect the patrol. We monitored the construction of latrines for 9 families and 6 families raised catfish in plastic tanks. We observed that the fish were growing rapidly and advised them to fence around and plant vegetables in the surrounding area. Additionally, we monitored goat raising of 13 families and observed that 5 more goats were born.

In Thapangthong district, we had made an agreement with 5 families interested in mushroom cultivation and advised them to prepare before supplying equipment. We followed the construction of latrines for 7 families and observed that many households have completed construction and use. Additionally, we provided 2,500 frogs (500 per family) and 2,500 catfish (500 per family) to 5 families. As the Atsaphone district, we monitored the fish farming of 3 families. Since the fish are still small, we recommend frequent follow-ups due to their low immunity and the risk of disease. We monitored the frogs raising of 10 families and the construction of goat cages for 10 families. Furthermore, we instructed the target group of 5 families to continue digging holes for latrine construction.
