Annual Inter-Provincial Stakeholder’s Meeting: Three Provinces (Vientiane, Bolikhamxay, and Xiengkhouang Provinces)

The Association for Rural Mobilisation and Improvement (ARMI), in collaboration with Caritas Luxembourg and all association that involved in the project has completed the Annual Inter-Provincial Stakeholder’s Meeting on June 28–29, 2023, at the provincial planning and investment department meeting room, Paek District, Xieng Khouang Province.

The meeting was co-chaired by Mr. Bounyord Mounkhaluk, Deputy Director of the National Nutrition Center, and Dr. Yeyang, Deputy of Provincial Health Department of Xiengkhuang Province. Dr. Bounyang Latsamy, Programme Manager of Caritas Luxembourg in Laos, and Mr. Chantha Ouanthavongsi, Director of Community Association for Salvation and Environment. There are National Project Implementing Management Committees (IMC) including the Ministry of Health and related parties, the Provincial Health Department in 3 target provinces, the District Administration Office, and the District Health Office in 3 target districts, along with provincial lao civil society and the sub-granting (4 LCSOs), Caritas Luxembourg in Laos, and ARMI project staffs. A total of 76 participant (33 women).

The purpose is to present the progress of the implementation of project activities and review the plan of future activities through commenting and improving as appropriate; To learn lessons from the implementation of project activities, results, challenges, and solutions between the project team within the 3 project target provinces, partners, and development partners within the nutrition network.

In the afternoon on June 28, 2023. We visited some of the project target villages, such as Namsiem village, Horkang village, and Poung village, for learning and exchange, and at the same time asked for guidance and support from the project implementing management committees at all levels to carry out the activities in the future.
