Completed Collecting the basic information to promote income-generating activities for the target group of 483 families in Chomphet District

The Community-Based Inclusive Development project in Luang Prabang province Phase II (CBID-LPB) is implemented in 20 villages in Chomphet District, Luang Prabang Province, Lao PDR. The project’s objectives are to support improving the quality of people with disabilities lives, to support income generation, and life development activities for all types of disabled people. The project is funded by CBM Global Disability Inclusion (CBM Global).

In order to promote income generation for the target group of The Community-Based Inclusive Development Project in Luang Prabang Province Phase II (CBID-LPB) to receive activities that are suitable for living, making their lives better gradually. In the recent period, we collected basic information and assessed the actual area of the target group, which included a total of 499 people (247 women), including 340 people with disabilities (158 women) and 159 poor families (89 women).

which we can summarize the needs for income generating activities of the target group as follows: 131 families raised goats, 120 families raised pigs, 126 families raised chickens, 33 families raised ducks, 3 families raised fish, 2 families raised frogs, grocery stores raised 25 families, farming activities raised 10 families, and more, for a total of 483 families.
