Completed the planning meeting on village model on nutrition (V-MoN) in 2 target provinces: Vientiane Province and Xiengkhouang Province.

Under the Promotion of civil society participation to improve the implementation of the Lao national nutrition strategy (ProCSpiNut), the Association for Rural Mobilisation and Improment (ARMI) with Caritas Luxembourg in Lao PDR held the planning meeting on the village model on nutrition (V-MoN) in two target provinces, including: On August 9, 2023 at the meeting room of Agriculture and Forestry, Phaxay District, Xiengkhuang Province, honored to be chaired by Mr. Soutchay Sipaseuth, Deputy Mayor, Phaxay District, and Dr. Bounyord Mounkhalack, Deputy of the National Nutrition Center, With the Provincial Secretariat of Nutrition, District Secretariat of Nutrition, the District Health Office, Health Centers, and Sub-grant LCSO, there was a total of 29 participants (14 women). and on August 11, 2023 at the meeting room of the District Health Office in Vientiane Province, chaired by Dr. Phonesavanh Keonakhone, Head of the Nutrition Center, Mr. Ding Leuangxay, Head of District Health Office, and Mr. Khamsing Namsavanh, Head of Caritas Luxembourg in Lao PDR, there are Provincial Secretariat of Nutrition, District Secretariat of Nutrition, the District Health Office, Health Centers, and Sub-grant LCSO, totaling 21 participants (9 women). The objective is to plan a model for the coordination mechanism and implement a single strategy across many sectors, as well as select villages and identify activities and indicators for the implementation of village model on nutrition.
