Completed training of fish and frog raising techniques for the target group of the CBID project in Luang Prabang province

The Community-Based Inclusive Development project in Luang Prabang province Phase II (CBID-LPB) is implemented in 20 villages in Chomphet District, Luang Prabang Province, Lao PDR. The project’s objectives are to support improving the quality of people with disabilities lives, to support income generation, and life development activities for all types of disabled people. The project is funded by CBM Global Disability Inclusion (CBM Global).

In order to increase the knowledge and capacity of income-generating activities for the target group of The Community-Based Inclusive Development project in Luang Prabang province Phase II, on July 12–14, 2023, we completed training on fish and frog raising techniques, in Chomphet District, Luang Prabang Province. Under the chairmanship of Mr. Somsak Silivong, Deputy Mayor of Chomphet District, there were participants from various partners and target groups, a total of 21 people (4 women), including 3 people with disabilities (2 women). After completing the training, the participants went on an exchange study tour to see the production of fish and frog raising, as well as learn to practice at the fish production farm of Mr. BounPan, at PhouMok Village, Luang Prabang city, Luang Prabang Province.
