During June 20–23, 2023, we, The Participatory Community Development for Livelihoods Improvement and Nutrition Promotion in Rural Areas (LAN), together with a community hospital and the village committee, visited 4 target families who have not yet completed the construction of the latrines in Padong village, Thapangthong district, Savannakhet province, to discuss the problems and recommend solutions to build toilets as soon as possible.
At the same time, we introduced the techniques of soil preparation and composting to improve the soil in mixed cropping to nine families and guided two other families to make compost.
