On September 8, 2023, we continued to train the technique of broom making for the target group in DakChueng District, Sekong Province in 6 namely: TangBrong Village, Tanglu Village, Tangmi Village, Dakle Village, Dak Yang Village and Daktaocnoy Village, along with 3 people from another villagers and public sector partners interested in participating, including a total of 23 participants (7 women).
The training will be carried out according to 3 main steps: 1) finding the kham (Phragmites karka), 2) tying the kham, 3) bringing it to the head or tying it together. The result of this training: they learn fast, can make many patterns, which this time they can produce a total of 103 pieces, which is considered a lot for a beginner. But there is still a problem: some target villages do not have raw materials, they have to go to find them in the forest or other areas.
