The Community-Based Inclusive Development project in Luang Prabang province Phase II (CBID-LPB) is implemented in 20 villages in Chomphet District, Luang Prabang Province, Lao PDR. The project’s objectives are to support improving the quality of people with disabilities lives, to support income generation, and life development activities for all types of disabled people. The project is funded by CBM Global Disability Inclusion (CBM Global).

In the 2nd week of September 2023, we handed over materials for building animal cages to a target group of 129 families (103 disabled people, 52 women) in 18 villages in Chomphet District, Luang Prabang Province. Which includes: 1,548 sheets of zinc (12 sheets/family), 129 kg of No. 8 nails (1 kg/family) and others. total value about 64 million Kip. The aim is for the target group who received animal husbandry activities with the project to bring equipment to build animal cages before the project will provide each type of animal soon.
