Provide Plant varieties and Goats to promote income generation for the target group, Total value more 69 million kip

The Community-Based Inclusive Development project in Luang Prabang province Phase II (CBID-LPB) is implemented in 20 villages in Chomphet District, Luang Prabang Province, Lao PDR. The project’s objectives are to support improving the quality of people with disabilities lives, to support income generation, and life development activities for all types of disabled people. The project is funded by CBM Global Disability Inclusion (CBM Global).

In order to promote income-generating activities for the target group, especially the disabled and poor families, to have the opportunity to develop their family's economy gradually.

In the 2nd week of October 2023, we The Community-Based Inclusive Development project in Chomphet district, Luang Prabang province, provide plant seeds and planting equipment to 9 families in 7 villages, including 5 disabled people. Which includes: black plastic tank, watering can, plastic pipe for water, sugar cane, hoe, rake and plant varieties. total value about 16 million Kip.

Also, 30 goat breeds were given to the target group of 10 families in 5 villages, including 4 disabled people. By giving 3 goats/family, the total value is about 53 million Kip. as well as introduced the techniques of raising, feeding and caring for goats.
