On June 27–30, 2023, we have the chance to visit and exchange with our neighboring country (Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand). There were 11 people from our team, the SNV team, and some of the producers. We exchanged and shared what the challenges were, the problems, and how to solve them. The main difference from Laos is that our stoves have regular testing by the government’s testing lab.
Mr. Phet Bi, one of our producers from Xiengkhouang, said that I am very happy to exchange lessons because in the past there was only an exchange within the country. This is the first time we have exchanged lessons with our neighborhood in terms of production, equipment, and tools, and I will use the lessons learned to improve the stoves in our place to be more effective and efficient.
