The completion of 6 improved cookstove manufacturers testing in Luang Prabang province

On 22-24 March 2023, we are the ICS team and the technical test on stove quality from the Department of Energy and Mines of Luang Prabang province followed up the CQC stove testing of 6 manufacturers from Xiengkhouang and LuangPrabang provinces.

We started by preparing the materials, and equipment for the stove testing and comparing the efficiency between the improved cookstove and the general stoves. The result of testing showed that the cookstoves of the 6 manufacturers have passed the standard criteria, high efficiency, use less charcoal, and firewood, and emit less smoke. Also, the fire has a strong flame.
