The MOU Signing Ceremony of the project on " Service Inclusion for Persons with Disabilities "

On 4 March 2023, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) concerning "Service Inclusion for Persons with Disabilities" in Samouay District, Salavan Province was signed between the National Committee for Disabled People and the Elderly (NCDE) from the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare and Mennonite Central Committee (MCC Laos) and the Association of Rural Mobilisation and Improvement-ARMI (the local project operator). It was an honor to attend the MOU signing ceremony by Mr. Soulivong Lanorsavan, Deputy Director of NCDE, Mr. Khamchoungduan Thavychin, Deputy of Samouay District Governor, and Ms. Andrea Ansikker, representative of MCC, with representatives from the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, and ARMI along with relevant parties to participate. In the total of 28 people (6 women).

Mr. Amphone Souvannalath, Director of ARMI said to the meeting that: the project activity plan will be in line with the system such as all purposes and activities, the ARMI team plans to work with the local steering committee, and we won’t implement all at once villages, the team will gradually plan and make learn lessons to implement in the next village.
